n a relatively hard, translucent restorative material used primarily in anterior teeth. Prepared by mixing a liquid and a powder. The powder is an acid-soluble glass prepared by the fusion of CaO, SiO, Al₂O₃, and other ingredients with a fluoride flux. The liquid is a buffered phosphoric acid solution.
