Ro·lan·do fis·sure

(rō-lahn'dō fish'ŭr)
A fissure on the lateral surface of each cerebral hemisphere, separating frontal and parietal lobes; also called fissure of Rolando and central sulcus of cerebrum.

Rolando fissure

The furrow between the frontal and parietal lobes of a cerebral hemisphere.
Synonym: central fissure; sulcus centralis
