correspondence /cor·re·spon·dence/ (kor″is-pon´dins) the condition of being in agreement or conformity.
anomalous retinal correspondence  a condition in which disparate points on the retinas of the two eyes come to be associated sensorially.
normal retinal correspondence  the condition in which the corresponding points on the retinas of the two eyes are associated sensorially.
retinal correspondence  the state concerned with the impingement of image-producing stimuli on the retinas of the two eyes.

cor·re·spon·dence (kôr-spndns)
n.
A relationship between corresponding points on each retina such that stimulation produces a single image.

correspondence,
(in ophthalmology) the relationship between corresponding points on each retina. The simultaneous stimulation of the points results in the sensation of viewing a single object.

the condition of being in agreement or conformity.
