These include gynecological issues like sexually transmitted diseases, menopause, and endometriosis; sexual and reproductive issues relating to birth control, abortion, infertility, and pregnancy; ovarian, breast, and other cancers; and chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, mental health problems, osteoporosis, urinary tract disorders, and thyroid disorders.
These chemicals pose risks to our soil, water and bodies and can be linked to cancers, reproductive issues, skin irritations, respiratory damage such as asthma, and damage to internal organs.
The pro-choice position is that it cannot be proven that life and personhood begins with conception, thus to take away the free choice of a woman in reproductive issues is to deny equality and enslave her because of gender.
