Rehfuss tube
a single-lumen oral tube used in humans to obtain specimens of biliary secretions for diagnostic study. The tube is weighted on one end so that it can be passed orally and positioned at the point where the bile duct empties into the duodenum. Done with a flexible endoscope to position a catheter to do the sampling.
