rapeseed meal
as oil cake or meal after rapeseed oil is removed this is a high-protein feed supplement used in cattle. It can be goitrogenic because of its content of isothiocyanate but can be detoxified.

KARACHI, November 19, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Brisk shipping was recorded at the Port where eight ships scheduled to load/offload Containers, Cement, Rape Seeds, Chemicals, Palm oil and Furnace oil were accommodated berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTeD Oil Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
Scientists arrived at these findings by combining the results of previous studies which have shown a decrease in oil, protein and carbohydrate content of oilseed rape seeds in high ozone.
For example, the rape seed oil used in a lot of our products is grown and harvested in rural Northumberland.
