RALA

A gene on chromosome 7p15-p13 that encodes Ras-related protein Ral-A, a Ras protein of the small GTPase superfamily. Binding of ligands triggers a transmembrane signal which leads to various cellular responses, including gene expression, cell migration, cell proliferation, oncogenic transformation and membrane trafficking through downstream effectors.
