quintile [kwin´tīl]
any of the four values that divide the range of a probability distribution distribution into five parts of equal probability; the first, second, third, and fourth quintiles are the 20th, 40th, 60th, and 80th percentiles.

This collaboration is a new business model in which Eisai and Quintiles share clinical development risks and work together to increase speed and probability of success in developing Eisai's six oncology candidate compounds, which include eribulin mesylate (E7389), E7080, ONTAK(R)(generic name: denileukin diftitox), E7820, E6201, and E7050.
Study records are maintained at the Quintiles location for three years and after that are sent to outside storage facilities.
Data from 42 Demographic and Health Surveys in sub-Saharan Africa, south and southeast Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean of caesarean rates by wealth quintile and absolute and relative difference between richest and poorest quintiles show that caesarean rates are below 1% for the poorest 20% of the population in 20 countries and 80% of the population in six countries.
