4-aminopyridine 1. a central nervous system stimulant and a pharmacological antagonist to d-tubocurarine and ketamine-diazepam. Used experimentally as a neuromuscular potentiator in the treatment of botulism. 2. a bird repellent which will poison animals that eat the treated grain accidentally.
