labium /la·bi·um/ (la´be-um) pl. la´bia [L.] 1. lip. 2. a fleshy border or edge; a liplike structure. 3. in the plural, often used to denote the labia majora and minora pudendi. la´bial la´bia majo´ra puden´di elongated folds running downward and backward from the mons pubis in the female, one on either side of the rima pudendi. la´bia mino´ra puden´di small skin folds, one on each side, running backward from the clitoris between the labia majora and the vaginal opening. la´bia o´ris the lips of the mouth.
