Police Surgeon
A doctor who provides clinical assessment of detainees including preparing and implementing care plans, prescribing and administering medicine, monitoring detainees' health and behavioural health and safeguarding detainees' health and welfare. They also provide medical services to victims and authority staff, attend scenes of sudden and suspicious death, conduct sexual offence examinations, prepare statements for legal proceedings and give evidence in court.
