sounds reasonable, every material can be allergenic. so i would stop using it if i were you- if you are indeed allergic, it'll only get worst

A. Currently there is no cure for lichen planus but there are certain types of medicines used to reduce the effects of the inflammation. all sort of immunosuppressants...dapsone, and you may consider retinoids...it's an oral treatments for acne but i heard it helps in Lichan Planus too.
