pint (pīnt) a unit of liquid measure; in the United States it is 16 fluid ounces (0.473 liter). In Great Britain, it is the imperial pint, equal to 20 fluid ounces (0.568 liter).

2. A unit of volume or capacity in the US Customary System, used in dry measure, equal to 1/2 quart or 0.551liter.
