pine
1. unthriftiness of calves due to nutritional deficiency of copper. There is a stiff gait, painful joints, graying of the haircoat and diarrhea in some. May also be used to describe the unthriftiness caused by nutritional deficiency of cobalt.
2. a tree; see pinus.
3. many other trees are also called pine incorrectly, e.g. 'cypress pine'.

an extract from pine trees which is used as an astringent, antiseptic, antitussive and in cattle as an antifoaming agent to treat bloat.

Anything that contains pine oil, Isopropyl Alcohol, bleach or Lysol® can cause serious chemical burns on the mouth, tongue, esophagus or pads of the dog if licked or consumed.
Relief may be found in the discriminate use of the following: equal parts of pine oil lavendar oil and eucalyptus oil - to which a little menthol may be added.
This is simply a perfect mixture of the lemon oil and the pine oil and this has been known to constitute a very powerful mixture.
