Pautrier microabscess [pôtrēyā′] Etymology: Lucien M.A. Pautrier, French dermatologist, 1876-1959; Gk, mikros, small; L, abscedere, to go away an accumulation of intensely staining mononuclear cells in the epidermis characterizing malignant lymphoma of the skin, especially mycosis fungoides.
