Parasympathomimetic An agent whose effects mimic those resulting from stimulation of the parasympathetic nerves. Also called cholinergic. parasympathomimetic (per´ adj See cholinergic. parasympathomimetic cholinergic; producing effects resembling those of stimulation of the parasympathetic nerve supply of a part.
