The joint venture with Cuban state entity Palmares SA, consists of a championship 18-hole golf course, a yacht club, a hotel and spa, along with 720 residential properties.
Palmares, which is one of the most attractive course on the whole of the Algarve, hosts the Team Stableford on Friday, November 7 as well as the middle round of the Challenge, while Boa Vista, which contains spectacular scenery and views over the Atlantic Ocean from most holes, stages both the opening and final rounds of the 54-hole Challenge.
Five links holes of the scenic Palmares course run beside the Meia Praia beach sand dunes, while the other 13 holes sit within rolling hills overlooking the Bay of Lagos.
