organometallic /or·ga·no·me·tal·lic/ (-mĕ-tal´ik) consisting of a metal combined with an organic radical, used particularly for a compound in which the metal is linked directly to a carbon atom.

Of, relating to, or constituting an organic compound containing a metal, especially one in which a metal atom is bonded directly to a carbon atom.
