odontogenic myxoma, a rare tumor of the jaw that may develop from the mesenchyme of the tooth germ. odontogenic myxoma (ōdon´tōjen´ik miksō´m n a deep lesion in a maxillary or mandibular tooth germ's mesenchyme.
