Nursemaid's Elbow
Subluxation of the head of the radius, caused by a longitudinal ‘yank’ on the forearm—by a nursemaid, etc.—forcing the child’s elbow into extension
Management The subluxation is reduced by firm supination at 90º and extension, followed by immobilisation with a posterior splint or a sling
