Nomina Anatomica,
the book of official international nomenclature for anatomy as designated by the International Congress of Anatomists.

Nomina Anatomica [no´mi-nah an″ah-tom´ĭ-kah]
the internationally approved official body of anatomic nomenclature; abbreviated NA.

Nomina Anatomica
a book that lists the internationally approved official body of human anatomical nomenclature; abbreviated NA. It now contains items in gross anatomy, histology and embryology.

Nomina Anatomica Avium (NAA)
the internationally approved list of terms used to describe the gross anatomy of birds.
Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (NAV)
the veterinary counterpart of the NA, now in its third edition, and based largely on the NA.
