of the Virgin Islands has been awarded a US$$6 million grant to establish the Caribbean Exploratory NCMHD Research Center for Excellence, reports Caribbean Net News (Oct. Molecular Biologist at the NCMHD Center for Excellence in Nutritional Genomics at University of California, Davis; Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri; and the study's lead researcher, presented his findings at the Fourth International Conference on Soy and Health in DE-sseldorf, Germany last week. According to the University of California at Davis NCMHD Center of Excellence for Nutritional Genomics, approximately 50 human diseases can be attributed to genetic variations and can be remedied or improved by the administration of high levels of the vitamin component of the corresponding coenzyme. |
