chevrotain

mouse deer which comprise the Tragulidae, one of the six families of ruminants in the order Artiodactyla. They are very small (6 to 10 inches high), hornless and have protruding canine teeth which serve as tusks. Includes Tragulus, Hyemoschus spp.
