Mönck·e·berg's arteriosclerosis (mngk-bûrgz, mngk-, mngk-brks)
n.
Arteriosclerosis of the peripheral arteries, especially in the legs of older adults, characterized by deposition of calcium in the medial coat. Also called Mönckeberg's calcification, Mönckeberg's sclerosis.

arteriosclerosis
a group of diseases of humans characterized by thickening and loss of elasticity of the arterial walls. Of no importance in animals.
