Etymology: William Forsyth Milroy, American physician, 1855-1942
congenital hereditary lymphedema of the legs caused by chronic lymphatic obstruction, sometimes involving additional areas, including the arms, trunk, and face. Also called congenital lymphedema, Meige's disease, Milroy's edema, Nonne-Milroy-Meige syndrome.
