Microtubule Interacting and Transport domain. A domain (region) on any of a number of proteins (e.g., STAMBP (AMSH), VPS4A or USP8 (UBPY)) that interacts with CHMP proteins, which are known to regulate endosomal sorting of ubiquitinated receptors.
