(dī´pirōn),
n an analgesic, antiinflammatory, and antipyretic agent that is rarely used because of a high incidence of agranulocytosis.

dipyrone
an analgesic and antipyretic agent, used also as an antispasmodic in equine colic. Overdosing may cause defective blood clotting, leukopenia and agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia and convulsive episodes.
