Medicare Payment Advisory Commission

A commission which advises US Congress and makes recommendations on policies affecting Medicare. MPAC was established by Congress in the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 to replace the Prospective Payment Assessment Commission and the Physician Payment Review Commission.
