Australian plant in the family Asclepiadaceae; toxin is probably cynanchoside; liana-type vine with milky sap. The leaves are unpalatable but if eaten cause signs of unsteadiness, collapse, convulsions, dyspnea and, in pigs, vomiting. Death follows within a few hours. Called also milk vine.
