Mammomonogamus a genus of nematodes in the family Syngamidae. They are parasites of the nasal sinuses and trachea of mammals. Mammomonogamus auris found in the puma. Mammomonogamus ierei found in cats, a cause of chronic nasopharyngitis. Mammomonogamus indicus found in the pharynx of the Indian elephant. Mammomonogamus laryngeus found in the larynx of cattle, goats, water buffalo and deer, and occasionally in humans. Mammomonogamus loxodontus in the trachea of the African elephant. Mammomonogamus mcgaughei found in cats. Mammomonogamus nasicola found in the nasal cavities of cattle, sheep, goats and deer. |
