Acute presentations should be treated once a day for 3 days, then treated on alternate days until the acute condition subsides. Once the acute state begins to show a degree of resolution, the intensity setting of the Magnetopulse should be gradually increased over subsequent treatment to the level indicated for the treatment of a subacute condition. Subacute and chronic cases should be treated three times per week until the condition resolves.
