Last week, the national MADD organization eliminated Executive Director Lois Harvick's position in the Eugene office, as part of a round of budget cuts across the country.
MADD officials, including the president of the Delaware chapter of MADD, Nancy Raynor, said the event could send the "wrong message" to young people who saw the president drinking beer on TV.
According to reports, the ABI has come out with a press release criticizing the MADD Delaware Chapter President Nancy Raynor for a comment that she made on a radio station that appeared to reprimand Obama for having a bad influence on young people.
