Lowchen

a small (8-18 lb) lively dog with a long, wavy coat of any color which is traditionally clipped in the pattern of a lion, i.e. full coat over the head, shoulders, feet and end of the tail, but very short on the loin and hindquarters. Called also Little lion dog.
