A. Liver is the most important organ. In Cirrhosis normal liver tissue develops to scar tissue and hinders the normal liver functioning. Scar tissue blocks the blood flow and slows the processing of nutrients, hormones, drugs, and naturally produced toxins. As alcohol is one of the causes for the development of scar tissue so it is related to cirrhosis.
