Limbitrol (chlordiazepoxide) (amitriptyline HCl) DS (double strength) Tablets BOXED WARNING: Suicidality and Antidepressant Drugs Antidepressants increased the risk compared to placebo of suicidal thinking and behavior (suicidality) in children, adolescents, and young adults in short-term studies of major depressive disorder (MDD) and other psychiatric disorders.
They are: a combination of amitriptyline (antidepressant) and perphenazine (antipsychotic) marketed as Triavil or Etrafon; and a combination of amitriptyline (antidepressant) and chlordiazepoxide (antianxiety) marketed as Limbitrol.
Sedatives and tranquilizers whose side effects are reported to include depression, confusion, delirium, impaired thinking, insomnia, and loss of memory: Ativan Nembutal Lanoxin Butalan Noludar Procan Centrax Restoril Aldomet Dalmane Serax Catapres Luminal Tranxene Benadryl Halcion Valium Compazine Librium Xanax Zantac Limbitrol Haldol 2.
