00 Paperback RF510 Branski (head and neck surgery, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and otorhinolaryngology, Weill Cornell Medical College) and Sulica (otorhinolaryngology, Weill Cornell Medical College and New York Presbyterian Hospital) compile 38 frequently cited articles on topics in voice and laryngology for laryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and others in the medicine.
In Philadelphia last year, for example, under the sponsorship of the Voice Foundation, World Voice Day events included an author's reading of a children's book to several hundred elementary school children in the Philadelphia school system (with a brief introduction by a laryngologist highlighting the importance of a healthy voice), a lecture on voice care for medical professionals in various disciplines, a voice workshop for actors, and a concert.
There are, say laryngologists, two modes for the voice.
