Our goal is to make sure all members of the Canadian Land Force develop a greater sense of situational awareness as to the efforts being made throughout the Army's Individual Training System--despite serious challenges of time and resources--to transform and modernize individual training.
The objective of this type of defense is to repulse an enemy land force advancing along the sea coast; interdict the landing of sea or air assault forces; retain control of coastal areas; and defend important areas on the coast, as well as important military, economic, and administrative installations and facilities.
