The LEP Web site is in response to former President Clinton's Executive Order 13166, which requires all federal, local and state agencies that receive federal funding to ensure that people with limited language skills have meaningful access to government programs and services.
The LEP, comprising Durham County Council, Building Schools for the Future Investments LLP (BSFI) and Carillion, will deliver over 40 schools in four phases over the 10-year contract period.
