junctional complex
an attachment point between epithelial cells composed of a number of complex structures, including desmosomes and gap junctions.
junctional diversity
the diversity in the amino acid sequence of antibodies is, in part, due to the different amino acid sequences generated at the junctions of the variable and constant regions.
junctional mechanobullous disease
inherited defect of skin in Belgian foals, Angus and Simmental calves, Suffolk and South Dorset lambs. See epidermolysis bullosa.
