kushta (kōōshˑ·t n a traditional preparation originating from India and Pakistan, used as an aphrodisiac. The preparation contains oxidized metals (zinc, arsenic, mercury, and lead) that are combined with a variety of herbs. Metal poisoning is a risk associated with application and use of kushta. |
