iter ad infundi´bulum the passage from the third ventricle of the brain to the infundibulum (1). iter chor´dae ante´rius the opening through which the chorda tympani nerve exits the tympanic cavity. iter chor´dae poste´rius the opening through which the chorda tympani nerve enters the tympanic cavity. iter den´tium the passage through which a permanent tooth erupts through the gums.
