International Society of Hypnosis,

n.pr an organization of health practitioners who use hypnosis within the context of their practice. The organization works to improve research and clinical practice related to hypnosis, provides informal and formal communication, supports the scientific application of hypnosis, and sponsors the International Congress of Hypnosis on a triennial basis. It establishes codes of ethics defining and limiting persons who are eligible to learn hypnosis. The
International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, which is published by the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, has been adopted as the official journal of the International Society of Hypnosis. Also called
