black induration  hardening and pigmentation of lung tissue in coal workers' pneumoconiosis.
brown induration 
1. a deposit of altered blood pigment in the lung.
2. increase of pulmonary connective tissue, dark colored due to anthracosis or chronic congestion from valvular heart disease.
cyanotic induration  hardening of the kidney from chronic venous congestion.
granular induration  cirrhosis.
gray induration  induration of lung tissue in or after pneumonia, without the pigmentation of brown induration.
penile induration  Peyronie's disease.
red induration  red, congested lung tissue seen in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

1. The hardening of a normally soft tissue or organ, especially the skin, because of inflammation, infiltration of a neoplasm, or an accumulation of blood.
2. A focus or region of abnormally hardened tissue.

Induration
An abnormally hard spot or area on the skin. The tuberculin skin test produces an induration at the test site in persons who have been exposed to TB.

induration of lung tissue in or after pneumonia, without pigmentation.
red induration
interstitial pneumonia in which the lung is red and congested.
