Ictalurus a genus of catfish, intermediate hosts for parasites of animals. See Table 23. Ictalurus furcatus blue catfish. Ictalurus melas black bullhead catfish, paratenic host for dioctophymerenale. Ictalurus nebulosa the brown bullhead catfish, the paratenic host for dioctophymerenale. Ictalurus punctatus finfish in family Ictaluridae. Called also channel catfish.
