On April 15, 2004, the rabbi heard that a 13-year-old Palestinian boy had been beaten by soldiers and strapped to the windshield of a military vehicle as a human shield in the village of Bil'in. In the Jose Pena tragedy, little Suzie Pena would be alive today if her father had not been under the influence and suicidal, shooting at the police and using her as a human shield on his lap. This is another "truth" used as a human shield to cover another nest of dangerous lies. |
