the occupants, contents and the interior of a house; the greater part of the environment of the average companion animal.

household cluster
a grouping of animals or occurrences of disease within a household as occurs with some infectious diseases such as feline leukemia virus-related disorders.
household product poisoning
poisoning by materials that are normal contents in the average person's house, e.g. cleaning fluids, proprietary medicines.
household residency
duration of a companion animal's stay in a household. Controlled by disease, age, age at acquisition, financial viability of the owner, habits and personality of the animal.
