Visual field deficit (VFD) is reported to be the most frequently occurring visual impairment after posterior brain injury, with approximately 75% of VFD consisting of homonymous hemianopsia, which is a loss of half of the visual field in each eye (Kerkhoff, 2000).
This putative monophyletic group is obviously more restricted than the homonymous group proposed by Gery (1977: 502-507) as an "artificial group" including Hemigrammus species possessing one or two humeral blotches and a caudal peduncle blotch.
