Q. if I use the home pregnancy tests and they fail to test right then what may be reason? Anyone tell me please that if I use the home pregnancy tests which are of good brand and they fail to test right then what may be reason?

A. there is no 100% accurate for any home test kit, but it is 99,...% sensitive. so if you fail the first test using that HCG test kit, you can just repeat that few days later, and if you still are having a doubt, go see your doctor for the confirmation.

the later you check the pregnancy, the higher the HCG level will be detected, and the result will be 'more' accurate.

Q. My home pregnancy test came out with a negative result whether I did something wrong? Though I am missing my periods and showing the signs of pregnancy, my home pregnancy test came out with a negative result. This made me upset and I and my hubby are longing for a baby. I did abort the baby when I was conceived for the first time. Now I am scared as to whether I did something wrong which is now showing the impact on me….

A. early pregnancy symptoms are very general and could be happening for many reasons, as BettyLiz said - ‘Phantom Pregnancy’ is one of them. but there are other things that can cause those signs and the only one that is hard to fake is the urine test. but it might be wise to go and see a doc about it.

Q. My home pregnancy test gave the result positive. But my breasts have not developed any tenderness yet. I had my home pregnancy test which gave the result positive. And I was confirmed positive by my doctor too. I am happy about my pregnancy as this is my first pregnancy. This is third week and I have heard that I will have tender breasts. But my breasts have not developed any tenderness yet. Does this mean that there is something to worry? During the start of my pregnancy I had sore breasts. Now it’s ok but is there any problem?

A. No I do not think that there is any problem as you are just in your third week. You may feel tenderness in your breasts in the following weeks. This tenderness will remain till the end of first trimester. Every pregnant woman will have these signs. You can wait till 2-3 weeks if you cannot feel any tenderness then meet your doctor. But there is nothing to worry.
