cerevisiae produced appreciable quantities of isoamyl acetate, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl octanoate and ethyl decanoate. Highlighted are reactive silicone oil, poly-siloxane macromonomers, as well as silane coupling agents that bind inorganic and organic materials and organic solvents for paint, ink, and adhesive use, such as 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol di-isobutyrate (CS-16) and 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol di-2-ethyl hexanoate (CS-24). Soluble zinc salts of fatty acid such as zinc 2-ethyl hexanoate are also available, and these "rubber soluble" activators are effective in natural rubber to produce low set, low creep compounds used in load bearing applications. |
