The VoIP chipset is a complete and scalable design solution that incorporates Virata Integrated Software on Silicon (ISOS) platforms (Nitrogen or Helium family member with all layer 2 and 3 software) and its Magnesium DSP and voice algorithms.
Helium - Virata's flagship Helium family has been deployed in more than 7 million CPE installations worldwide.
Because all of the Helium family, including the new Helium 210-80 and Helium 100, use Virata's ISOS software, there is a minimal amount of software development and integration required to develop multiple products for different market segments.
